A special innovation this year is the Municipal Campus. This central meeting point for all stakeholders in municipal heating planning offers the opportunity to take an in-depth look at the challenges and opportunities of heating planning in large cities, smaller towns, municipalities and districts in round tables, keynote speeches and discussion panels. Well-known partners such as the German Association of Cities, the German Association of Towns and Municipalities, the German Association of Districts, ASEW and NRW.Energy4Climate will provide an in-depth exchange of expertise.

This KlimaDiskurs.NRW forum will examine the transformation of the municipal heat supply and its significance for climate protection. The discussions will focus on the future role of electrical energy, hydrogen and the use of existing gas networks in the heat supply.

This event organised by the Bundesverband Geothermie e.V. is dedicated to the potential and framework conditions of geothermal energy in North Rhine-Westphalia, the most populous federal state, which is the first to deliver a strategy for the use of climate-neutral geothermal energy and thus wants to become a pioneer in this sector.
