Innovation leaders set out their stalls at HEATEXPO

16. November 2023

Well-known players such as GEA Refrigeration Technologies, E.ON Business Solutions, Uniper Energy Sales, ENGIE Refrigeration and Toshiba to exhibit in Dortmund

The provision of heating is an integral part of our society, ensuring that households, businesses and industry can be heated and operated as cost-effectively as possible. However, heating is facing considerable challenges due to climate change. After all, Germany is aiming to be net zero by 2045 – and according to the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), over one third of total energy requirements are used to heat buildings. Over 80 per cent of energy is still obtained by burning fossil fuels. This urgently needs to change – and new technologies and solutions are required in order to meet these challenges.

Dortmund, 16 November 2023 – The first-ever HEATEXPO, to be held in Dortmund between 21 and 23 November 2023, is coming at just the right time as the B2B show will be giving a platform to leading players in the fields of heat supply, heating and cooling, infrastructure, digitalisation of heating systems, and R&D. Around 100 prominent exhibitors will be presenting their new, innovative solutions for the move to renewable energies.

Danish company Danfoss GmbH Climate Solutions (Danfoss), known across the world for its expertise in heating and cooling technology, will be one of the businesses at the venue. Its portfolio includes heat pumps, ventilation systems, district heating and hot water systems as well as thermostatic valves.

GEA Refrigeration Technologies GmbH, a subsidiary of the MDAX-listed GEA Group, will also be presenting a broad portfolio for industrial heating and cooling. These include heat pumps for buildings, commerce and industry as well as refrigeration systems for the food and beverage industry.

E.ON Business Solutions GmbH will present economical and sustainable distributed generation solutions for industrial facilities. Its comprehensive energy solutions range from development and design to delivery, financing, installation and maintenance services.

Also at HEATEXPO will be Uniper Energy Sales GmbH which develops bespoke electricity and natural gas supply concepts and is part of global energy company Uniper. Its portfolio includes engineering services, charging station infrastructure, storage concepts (Power-to-X) and commercialisation of renewable energy.

Eavor GmbH, a leader in innovative geothermal technologies, will be presenting its Eavor-Loop™ technology at the show. Its supplies an environmentally friendly geothermal solution for flexible district heating and electricity supplies in Germany. The experts attach great importance to security, scalability and continuous energy supplies.

Energieanlagen Greifswald GmbH specialises in the planning, construction, commissioning and maintenance of industrial plants such as thermal power stations. The industrial service provider has played a key role in the development of Germany's largest flow heat pump which went into operation in Mannheim in October 2023 as part of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection's “Large heat pumps in district heating networks” real-life laboratory. In Dortmund, the company will be showcasing new ideas from its portfolio.

ENGIE Refrigeration GmbH manufactures and supports refrigeration systems, heat pumps and system solutions. The company specialises in economical and energy-efficient cooling and heat generation.

isoplus Fernwärmetechnik GmbH, a leading manufacturer of pre-insulated pipework systems for local and district heating systems and industrial plants, will be at the venue showing visitors the various pre-insulated pipework systems it produces for all kinds of local and district heating systems and industrial facilities.

REHAU Industries SE & Co. KG supplies plastics and polymer solutions for applications such as water management, energy efficiency and renewable energies. The company also develops high-quality heating and cooling system solutions worldwide.

As a provider of HVAC systems and services, Trane Deutschland GmbH will be presenting solutions for air conditioning in industrial processes in Dortmund, with applications in sectors such as healthcare, industry, data centres and food and beverage production.

Toshiba will also be among the many prominent exhibitors in Dortmund.
