The provision of heating is an integral part of our society, ensuring that households, businesses and industry can be heated and operated as cost-effectively as possible. However, heating is facing considerable challenges due to climate change. After all, Germany is aiming to be net zero by 2045 – and according to the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), over one third of total energy requirements are used to heat buildings. Over 80 per cent of energy is still obtained by burning fossil fuels. This urgently needs to change – and new technologies and solutions are required in order to meet these challenges.
Dortmund, 16 November 2023 – The first-ever HEATEXPO, to be held in Dortmund between 21 and 23 November 2023, is coming at just the right time as the B2B show will be giving a platform to leading players in the fields of heat supply, heating and cooling, infrastructure, digitalisation of heating systems, and R&D. Around 100 prominent exhibitors will be presenting their new, innovative solutions for the move to renewable energies.
Danish company Danfoss GmbH Climate Solutions (Danfoss), known across the world for its expertise in heating and cooling technology, will be one of the businesses at the venue. Its portfolio includes heat pumps, ventilation systems, district heating and hot water systems as well as thermostatic valves.
